Do you still have some trouble to import your Vaults wallet in to your main MetaMask wallet? This guide will help you import it step by step.

In this post I'll explain how to import your Vaults wallet in to your main MetaMask wallet. I know a lot of people are struggling to do this and that's why I made this guide explaining it step by step. Before I knew how to import the Vaults wallet I was using two browsers to work with both my Vaults wallet and my main wallet. Some other people are logging in and out to switch wallets which consumes a lot of time.

On desktop:

1) Log in to your main MetaMask wallet
2) Click on the 'circle'/your profile right above
3) Click on Import account
4) Select type: Private key
5) Enter your private key

5.1) The private key can be found for iOS users (sadly enough Reddit didn't update this yet for android users) in the Reddit app:
5.1.1) Open your Reddit app on your Apple device
5.1.2) Go to your vault
5.1.3) Click on the three dots
5.1.4) Click on recovery phrase
5.1.5) Below your 12 words, you can find your private key. Please keep in mind that the private key is like your bank card and code, so NEVER share this with someone.

5.2) The private key can be found in your MetaMask on your desktop extension:
5.2.1) Log in to your Vaults MetaMask wallet
5.2.2) Click on the three dots after your wallets name
5.2.3) Go to account details
5.2.4) Export private key
5.2.5) Enter your password
5.2.6) The private key will be revealed to you

6) Your Vaults wallet is imported in to your main MetaMask wallet. It's possible that it's not connect yet, so you can just click 'Not connected' and make your Vaults wallet connected. If this won't help if you log out and back in, it will ask you which wallet you want to connect.

On your phone:

1) Log in to your main MetaMask wallet app
2) Click on the 'circle'/your profile above in the middle
3) Click on Import an account
4) It will show you: "Paste your private key string"
5) Enter your private key

5.1) The private key can be found for iOS users (sadly enough Reddit didn't update this yet for android users) in the Reddit app:
5.1.1) Open your Reddit app on your Apple device
5.1.2) Go to your vault
5.1.3) Click on the three dots
5.1.4) Click on recovery phrase
5.1.5) Below your 12 words, you can find your private key. Please keep in mind that the private key is like your bank card and code, so NEVER share this with someone. Also make sure your Reddit app is updated.

5.2) The private key can be found in your MetaMask on your desktop extension:
5.2.1) Log in to your Vaults MetaMask wallet
5.2.2) Click on the three dots after your wallets name
5.2.3) Go to account details
5.2.4) Export private key
5.2.5) Enter your password
5.2.6) The private key will be revealed to you

6) Your Vaults wallet is imported in to your main MetaMask wallet.
