It’s a conundrum. Devs should get paid for their work, but what if the company they work for doesn’t really have the money to pay them properly? It’s a passion project but even passions still need to be paid for time and effort put in at some point.
Or is it okay for there to be a 50/50 split half currency, half fiat?
On the one hand you could say them receiving the currency they work on would give them more of an incentive to make it a success. Of course there are potential risks involved with that.
