Do you think that memecoins attract new crypto investors or repel them?

There are people who think memecoins attract new crypto investors and those who think memecoins repel them. What is your opinion? Which group do you belong to?

I personally often wonder how people who have not yet invested in cryptocurrencies can take us seriously when the top 15 coins with the largest market capital are animal based memecoins?

I mean, there are good arguments on both sides. On the one hand, memecoin can attract someone to start entering and then investigate other cryptocurrencies, and at the same time, many can lose a lot of money because they get scammed on some shitcoin/memecoin and never invest in crypto again because they consider it a scam.
