Do your own research: It saved me some pain

Just a little story from a few weeks ago.

Friend was throwing his birthday party in a bar. We had a private party until 12 but then people from outside were able to join as well.

We were playing at the table football all evening and then started to play random people when they arrived. Got talking with this one guy and somehow the topic of bitcoin came up (we were talking about the insane housing prices and how we never will be able to afford this).

He told me about this project that he invested in a few months ago. He had some nice gains and was getting great staking rewards. The next day I took a look and holy shit, it was your typical copy paste shitcoin website with a bunch of empty promises. We have all seen this before. So I just ignored it and moved on with my life.

Just checked yesterday and the coin is dead. Who would have thought. Sorry random bar guy, you were a nice dude but cmon...
