Does anyone else do these paranoid things when withdrawing BTC from an exchange?

So I dynamically DCA weekly with my amount based on current market risk and every time I want to withdraw to my hardware wallet, I get paranoid. Before I can withdraw my BTC I always have to:

  • Send a test transaction TO the exchange to make sure I actually have spending-access to what is stored on my hardware wallet
  • Send a test transaction from the exchange to my wallet (even though I have the wallet address saved on the exchange)
  • Only if both worked correctly do I send the full BTC to my cold storage.

And on step 3 I'm still nervous!

Is anyone else like this? I get the feeling I'm a little too cautious and it's always unnerving to withdraw my funds.

Edit: I just withdrew and I'm not sleeping until the transaction lands into my wallet lol
