Does your spouse/partner/family/friend know about your crypto, where it’s stored and what to do with it if you die?

The last few days I got hit hard with covid, (103.8F / 39.9c fever) shortness of breath, dizzy and all the other bells and whistles that come with it - don’t worry I’m usually good and healthy, I’ll survive…

But it got me thinking, if i were to die unexpectedly whether it be by illness or traffic accident etc, my partner is the only person who knows how much crypto I have but that’s where the line stops, she wouldn’t know what the seed phrase is, what exchanges to use, how to work the wallet etc. The last thing anybody would want is their partner who knows nothing about crypto posting on Reddit or asking somebody they don’t trust for help. It wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility for someone who knows nothing about it to do something extreme like post a pic of the seed asking “what do I do with this”…

Does someone you trust have a copy of your seed phrase and instructions on what to do?

After all, you don’t want to be the ultimate hodler!!
