Don't be a (toxic) maximalist of a project. Multiple projects can win.

I think maximalism is most common in Bitcoin, where they call every altcoin a shitcoin. But I am starting to see it more with other projects as well. So I wanted to rant about it.

While most coins will come and go, that doesn't mean that there's only one good coin.

I see this on Twitter a lot, where people become the "XRP Army" for example and XRP is the only good project in their eyes.

Benjamin Cowen just posted a poll on Twitter, letting people choose between Bitcoin and Ethereum. Ethereum was by far the most popular, so Bitcoin maxi's had to tell everyone that: "70% of people is not gonna make it."

You can have a favorite coin, but that doesn't justify shitting on other projects.

I personally prefer altcoins over Bitcoin, I want to take high risk and get high reward. But a Bitcoin maximalist would reply to that with: "Oh all the altcoins are going to be crushed during the bear market." Well, who gives a shit? I am here to make money now and flip coins while I can.

To me it doesn't matter if I have to flip memecoins, gaming coins, defi coins, anything can give profit.

It's not Dogecoin vs Shiba Inu, it's not Bitcoin vs Ethereum, it's not Solana vs Luna. If you prefer Luna over Solana, that's fine, then buy Luna. Then just buy Luna in peace, without hating on Solana.

Most people are probably in it for the money anyway, so who cares what coin you do it with? Live and let live, let everyone enjoy their picks, without telling them "they are not gonna make it."
