Dont Fall For The Pi Network Pyramid Scheme

Ive heard about Pi Network a few months back from a friend of mine and decided to give it a try. The concept sounds really cool, a decentralized crypto that everyone has a fair chance to mine. As soon as I signed up it raised a bunch of red flags. Potentially unable to pull your assets out if its not your real name, invite people to earn more, and tons of others. Lets look at the real issues though

Its not real mining. When I first signed up I ran it for a few days thinking Im just being skeptical and wanted to give it a shot. Well I checked my battery usage and it used almost no battery. Any type of actual mining would a noticeable amount of power.

Then I had the idea of testing this further and seeing if it truly is fake mining. Well I started the mining process (you have to enable it every 24hours) and deleted the app. Redownloaded it a few hours later and whaddaya know my total pi points increased. The reason I say points is this is basically one of those idle clicker games. It also doesnt make sense that my phone from 6 years ago mines the same as my s10e which mines the same as an android emulator on my pc.

Its a PYRAMID SCHEME. You can mine more by inviting more people....yeah we heard that before. It makes 0 sense that inviting people has anything to do with mining.

Theres 10+ million downloads, and they claim a total of 18mil users. This will keep blowing up especially with how many new people are jumping on the crypto train.
