While I understand how EigenLayer might work for native restaking, I don't understand how it works under the hood for restaking of LSDs. Why would it work any differently for an LSD than, say, USDC? They are both a form of economic bond. Sure, the LSD may be backed by some validators but the LSD-holder has no control over those validators or their fee recipient or withdrawal addresses.
I have asked this question on the EigenLayer discord with no clear answer. Is there anyone here that can actually provide a detailed answer?
