I am so clueless I've almost lost my crypto wallet twice in the last month. Thankfully I only keep about 1% of my BTC in a wallet. The rest i keep on an exchange. But I know not my keys not my coin. I'm feeling ready to move at least 50% off the exchange and into a wallet but I really don't even trust myself not to lose it.
I lost my very first wallet when the paper I'd written my words on got wet and I couldn't figure out the seed phrase.
These days I travel non stop and worry about keeping up with any kind of hardware or losing any paper I might use to write seeds on.
I had issues with my phone and had to factory reset it and totally forgot to transfer my btc, but thankfully I was able to pull it from an old phone which still had my wallet on it.
So what is the most dummy proof way to secure my crypto without losing it because I'm an idiot?
