Is anyone else having problems claiming their ENS tokens?
I can’t even join the discord to troubleshoot because of a ssl certificate issue.
I am unable to choose a delegate in order to proceed through the claims process and receive ENS tokens.
I am also having trouble restoring a 2017 wallet created in MEW. I have the JSON and a copied notes with a 3 word secret phrase before secretSHA3 but it’s not working as a password…maybe I’ll try again with spaces
Can anyone please help? Thanks
*Update: thank you to Deminero for helping me on the ens dapp. Apparently if there is another account logged in to metamask on a different window, this can affect the ens dapp in chrome (and openSea). Now I just need to remember my password from 2017 for a wallet I created in mew for the JSON file. and then figure out how to interact with contracts in ledger live.
**So from what I can gather about the info I have saved… when starting an auction or bidding on an ENS name, 3 words were given as part of the transaction. I have those 3 words for one of the wallets but I am wondering if there is a way to use the raw transaction data from starting an auction and bidding to derive the password to unlock the wallet for other transactions.
***still brute forcing the old wallet… Does capitalization matter in the password for the UTC json file?
****alright so at this point I’m trying the hardware wallet. My firmware is 1.2.4 on ledger nano s. I do not have blind signing in settings as an available option, only contract data and display data.
*****un fucking believable. I hand-wrote the private key. for a wallet that I have a digitally encrypted json utc file with no password. On to hardware wallets interacting with contracts
