ERC20 and ERC721 after Ethereum 2.0 ?

What will happen to ERC20, ERC721 after Ethereum 2.0 comes out ?

Will we need to update any of the code in our pre-existing dApps?

I've been thinking of making a game for the blockchain, how would it be affected when ETH2.0 comes out. I've heard gas prices might be lower, so I would prefer launching on ETH2.0, so should I just wait until it comes out and then start development, or should I begin work now because the contracts won't be affected in anyway??
