ETF and Bitcoin: it feels strange. Cheers to this new era?

I got involved in Bitcoin years ago because it had a story of cyber/cypher punks; it's a revolt, a rebellion, an underground digital world economy that doesn't require banks, that avoids sanctions, that allows to buy mushrooms and helps to settle finances with the like-minded individuals, allows to save your hard earned value in something that is incorruptible and secure.

Years and years of people rolling eyes and discarding the arguments, the talks, so much passion about the promise of the cyberland, immutable ledger, days upon days and weeks of reading and thinking about it.

And now it feels like it's fully validated.

But there was never a need for the validation.

Part of me doesn't want this to be real, I would rather keep doing what I'm doing, but it's now a new stage of Bitcoin. Multinational corporations are now allowed to allocate billions of their paper into the ETFs, steer away the people from self custody and the promise of a system that is different from the fiat.

Stay humble. Stack precious sats. Teach people about self custody. And let's hope for the best.
