I believe these are the greatest misconceptions about BTC ETFs today:
1: ETF fund managers decide on BTC inflow and outflow: no, the investors decide
2: inflow of BTC into ETF results in price increase: no, for every buyer there is a seller. Lets assume OTC halted, although a large market buy order by an ETF may cause a temporary price spike, it is ulimately the order book combined with market orders that define the price. Yes an ETF leverages the amount of users participating which could lead to increased adoption and ultimately price. But net ETF BTC holdings seem irrelevant. Thoughts?
