Ether has begun outperforming Bitcoin as the world is prepares for eth 2.0, and I’m all for it

Not a slight at Bitcoin, the crypto we all know and love, the token that started it all, but ETH has begun taking the rounds as the next big king of the markets. And I think it will remain superior for a while.

You see, despite the issues the Eth obviously faces, it still has great utility, and this was proven in the last couple of years, as users from all walks of life began using dapps and installments that are based on the Ethereum chain and its blockchain. Despite the issues with gas fees and transaction time, eth was still the more practical solution.

It is quite obvious as of now that eth is out there to serve a purpose, Bitcoin might be the store-of-value gold equivalent of the crypto world, but Eth is used for pretty much everything else. And now that Eth 2.0 is in the works and almost done, all the hype has accumulated towards it.

In addition to that, eth has paved the way for other projects in the field. Let’s not forget who first started with the NFT movement and who led the way in promoting defi to the world and all the things it has given us. DeFi in the last couple of years has seen a tremendous boom, and it could all be traced back to ETH. Staking on DeFi has become the next big thing that the world is rushing to, now with DAOs and decentralized programs like Werewolf operating on the Lycan chain pushing forwards newer ideas into the mainstream and garnering attention.

Ethereum will no doubt be the next silver commodity of the crypto universe, but people are holding it in cold wallets and wait for the next burn.
