Ethereum based Raspberry Pi

I wanted to know if it is possible to add a face recognition code into raspberry Pi and have it send data to the laptop using private ethereum block chain network? Or if there are better ways to it. If possible please mention how or where I can learn about it.

Edit: Info: What I want to/plan to do is like raspberry Pi should capture an image when a face is seen and send it to a connected system using a secure network for facial recognition Or the raspberry Pi itself could have the facial recognition code uploaded into it, if face matched with user perform actions like door unlock or if not matched send an alert.
