Etherscan visibility into Binance Wallets

Hi, I sent some Eth a while back to someone's Binance wallet, and on Etherscan it says that they have some Eth, and a couple other tokens. They claim however that right now they don't have any crypto in their Binance wallet. Is there a chance they're right, and that they've moved it out somewhere, or is the value of eth and tokens accurate because everything is recorded on the blockchain? (that was my understanding)
