Hi everyone, I understand the concept of LP's, but I do not fully understand why Binance is saying that my "Portion Value PNL" is in the green. Given that "Portion Value PNL" takes into account Impermanent Loss and Earnings (which I have generate very little, a couple of dollars).
This is my situation:
1) On the 2022-02-17 I added a THETA/BNB pair of the amount 131.21087272 THETA + 1.15939851 BNB to the LP. At this date & time THETA was: $3.7 and BNB: $422
2) Fast forward today, as of writing this. THETA is: $4.35 and BNB: $448.03
3) Looking at my "Portion Value PNL" value (Binance > Earn > Liquidity Swap), it gives me a figure of "+105.9292 USD"
4) However, since I first added funds to the THETA/BNB LP, THETA has increased by: ($4.35/$3.7) - 1)*100 = 17.56% and BNB has only increased by: ($448.03/$422)-1*100 = 6.17%
5) At the time of writing my "Pool Portion Composition" value is now 125.8648 THETA + 1.2086 BNB . Meaning that I have less THETA and more BNB. Given that THETA has increase by 17.56% and BNB by 6.17% for my duration in the LP I would expect to have made a big impermeant loss since I have less THETA than when I started. Hence, I'd expect Portion Value PNL" to be in the RED, but I am green (+105.9292 USD)
What am I missing? Can someone explain is layman's terms why I am in profit?
