Experience mixing Bitcoin with Whirlpool CoinJoin

This is my first time mixing bitcoin with whirlpool CoinJoin via my sparrow wallet.

The first mix took about 24 hours for all my 23 UTXOs (around 1.2 BTC)

I've now have my wallet open for more than a week (24 hours a day) and only 2 of the 23 UTXOs have gotten a second mix.

At this rate it would take many months to only get a second mix for all my UTXOs..

I wouldn't mind to let it run for a year, only that it doesn't feel safe to have it in a hotwallet and not in my coldcard.

I thought that there would be a lot of people mixing and it would be quicker, I was wondering if this is normal that it takes this long or if I'm doing something wrong (there is always a process bar behind one of my UTXOs) Nowhere in the documentation or tutorials does it say it will take months to get a second mix..

Would it be a good idea to switch to Wasabi Wallet and would that be any faster?
