Explain to me like I am 5.

Why do you guys believe in bitcoin. Why is it worth so much or anything at all. To my understanding Its literally just big random numbers on a screen. It doesn’t produce anything or accomplish anything. I get transactional use but its not backed by anything except its worth x amount of dollars at a given time. But thats not reliable because it goes up and down every minute of everyday. I personally don’t trust it or believe in it nor wish to put my hard earned, equally worthless fiat into it. Change my mind.
