I'm 25 yr old guy from a third world country in Asia. These days my country going through a full-scale economic crisis. Our native currency going down every day against the dollar and the prices of all the goods and services in the country skyrocketing day by day. (for an example fuel prices increased 4 times during this year) So the value of savings in our bank accounts decreasing rapidly because of extreme inflation. This is a result of mismanagement and the corruption of the current and previous governments.
I have known about bitcoin since late 2017, but those days according to our Central Bank regulations it's virtually impossible to buy it and most of the platforms didn't support countries like us. Luckily nowadays there are ways to buy bitcoin now and some platforms support our country. So I decided to take all my savings step by step and buy Bitcoin. Earlier this month I made my first-ever bitcoin purchase..Now I'm planning to buy bitcoin regularly according to DCA method. The unfortunate thing is our native currency also going down against the dollar rapidly and I have to pay more money each week to convert into dollars and buy bitcoin, but I'm not worried about that since I'm accumulating bitcoin every week.
Though I'm living in a broken country where people try to flee away, for a long time in my life I'm feeling more alive and excited about the future, I don't know why but it's really an awesome feeling when I think about that I own some bitcoin
