I see a lot of people saying in the comments that they wont link their wallets because it is insecure or their wallets can get hacked.

The only risk on adding your PUBLIC address in CMC is that if CMC gets hacked or leaked your PUBLIC address becomes PUBLIC.

Your funds are always safe, there are no connections to your wallet that can move or whatever to your funds. It just search your address in the PUBLIC blockchain and get the data from there.

Finally we can add our wallets to load your stuff instead of doing it manually. You don't have to link anything, you just paste your public address.

Just today I had my browser CMC (https://coinmarketcap.com/) updated and I saw a new Beta feature when adding a new portfolio.

It looks like they partnered with OKlink (https://www.oklink.com/) as Data partners and by now the only available networks are Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism and Fantom.

Step By Step Guide

Now I am going to show you step by step how to add your wallet:

1. Go to Home -> Portfolio and click on Create Portfolio

1. This pop up will appear and you have to choose "Connect your wallet" option.

1. Add your Portfolio name, avatar and paste your wallet address.

1. You can now enjoy your new portfolio that loads automatically.

I think they have still a long way to add new features like this and in my case I will keep doing it manually but I think this is great for people with not as much as wallets as I have.
