Get it directly from the company.
Set it up and make at least a couple of backups of your seed words. Keep the backups safe and secure (these are the passwords to your bitcoin).
Learn about passphrases and use them alongside the seed words.
Whatever isn't clear, ask here or in r/BitcoinBeginners and never reply any DMs regarding Bitcoin. Creating this post means you just become a target for scammers now or in the future. Keep that on your mind please.
Leaving a custodian and becoming your own bank is liberating as well as a responsible job. Being a bit paranoid (like a bank security officer) is helpful.
