For a long term crypto investor, I focus far too much on the short term. Anyone else forever checking charts?

It's basically the first thing I do when I wake up, and then it's more or less what I do the entire time I'm on the train to and from work. Mobile phones make the process far too easy, and I can't type the letter 'C' into a browser without either coinmarketcap or coingecko coming up which makes it even harder to break the habit. I'm not panicking; the peaks are very satisfying to watch but I rarely feel inclined to sell and the monumental trough that has been the last couple of months has barely fazed me - but it's become a bit of an obsession to just scroll through (basically aimlessly) all the shiny cryptos. And I'd be the first to admit I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking for, I'm like a cave person emerging from their hole in a cliff to find an unattended space craft - I haven't a fucking clue what anything means beyond the green being good and red bad.
