For every one of those people that managed 100-1000x gains there are thousands of people that are 99% down.

It's really important to be realistic about how your portofolio price can move. Some people still think that doge will 100x given the fact that at the time i am writing this if doge did a 50x it would have the same market cap as bitcoin so 100x would be 2 times bigger that bitcoin wich is insane.

I don't even want to get to the fact that usually people that went banckeupt are not usually promoted and crypto influencers are all in the center of atention but they are not investors they are...influencers (survivorship bias intensifies). They have a lot of benefits that the usual crypto retail don't. They win if the project moon but they can also win if the project fail.

If you have over 50% yearly return it's still much better than most of the stocks from sp500 so you should be extremely happy if you reach that performance.
