For my Canadians out there. Does your Credit Card charge you as a cash withdrawal when purchasing crypto?

So I know that a few of my exchanges, with their recent updates have warned me if I’m a Canadian that my card could choose to bill me as cash (instant interest for no reason)

I don’t wanna have to pay the exchange and my bank % just to purchase, let alone do anything else with lol yesterday swaps were costing way too much for me to want to pay any more ????

Anyways, if you are a Canadian; which company is your card through and do they charge as a cash W/D if you purchase crypto? (My bank says I’m not supposed to be able to borrow money from them for free and make money with it; go figure?)

P.S. I used my RBC card a few years ago to purchase off of metamask directly before they found out it was a crypto exchange (for a time, maybe even still; they wouldn’t let you buy crypto with their services so I had to use alt methods)
