For what it's worth, these are the bitcoin wallets I recommend depending on your level of knowledge. Do whatever you want with this information.

My humble opinion only.

Feel free to disagree.

Here they are:

Level 1 - Muun Wallet (mobile): Recommended for people that are starting out and don't have much knowledge about mnemonic seeds or how bitcoin works. User experience is incredibly minimalistic, almost idiot-proof. Backup process is intuitive as well. Comes with Lightning Network integrated behind the scenes. Fully open source.

Level 2 - Green Wallet (mobile): Next level choice for those that are regularly stacking sats and have more understanding of how bitcoin works. Very modern UX and easy to understand. Has the ability to manage several wallets, passphrases, connect with TOR, connect to your own node, link to hardware devices like Trezor, etc. I personally feel comfortable having up to 0.25 BTC here, but that's me. Your threshold might be 0.10 BTC or lower. Or it might be higher. On-chain only, no lightning. Fully open source.

Level 3: BitBox02 Bitcoin Only Edition (hardware): Once you're ready for a hardware wallet and have more money, this one is my favorite. The people behind this wallet are very transparent and security conscious. It's one of the very few wallets that protect against the covert nonce channel attack, which is a huge plus for me. The device is not difficult to use and the companion app is intuitive as well. Everything is fully open source. The only thing that I don't like is that their default backup option is an SD card. I prefer to discard the SD card and write the 24 seed word instead.

Level 4: SeedSigner (hardware): This is the best option in my opinion. It is completely air-gapped and uses generic hardware which drastically reduces the probability of a backdoor. The only downside is that it's a DIY (do it yourself) wallet. You need to buy the parts and assemble it yourself. Not the ideal option for 99% of people. However, if you're tech savvy and understand bitcoin, this one is awesome. Fully open source.

Level 5: Multisignature and air-gapped laptops (advanced): This one is worth mentioning. You will come across people that want to minimize trust as much as possible. They will say hardware wallets are not secure enough and will point you towards yeticold.com or glacierprotocol.org. This is probably the most secure option, but it comes with a big tradeoff which is complexity. Consider this option only if you know what you're doing and have a LOT of money you need to secure.

That's it.

Hope you found this information helpful.

PS/ There are a couple of mobile wallets worth mentioning which are Phoenix Wallet and Samourai Wallet. Phoenix is a pure lightning network wallet and Samourai is a privacy-focused wallet. Both are great for what they do in my opinion. Worth checking them out.
