Forgotten Projects - Old Crypto Investors Remembers #2

Hello everyone!

Time for the second part of series of forgotten projects, this time we will talk about 3 very promising projects from 2017/2018. Let's go!

First project which I want to talk about it NEO, called by everyone as the ''Chinese Ethereum killer'', over the years I've heard about many ETH killers but at some point in time NEO was close to achieve it, unfortunately (or not, who knows) ETH started developing/bringing new things on their blockchain and NEO stayed the same, I could never find the answer for my question ''why? why NEO stopped development of their project?''. It was always weird for me as when you have a strong competition like ETH, you need to work even harder to stay in the top/as the top project, seems like NEO developers were lacking something to do that (I don't want to guess what it was as it could be so many things).

Second project which I want to mention has been forgotten for very long time now - PIVX, the younger ''brother'' of Monero, from my point of view in some ways even better than Monero. At the ATH, PIVX has been floating around 60-65th place on cmc with with marketcap of around $683m. At some point in time I have been closer with the team, I know that those guys have been and still are working hard at developing new things for their project, the only thing which I believe they are lacking is the marketing and the fact that privacy focused projects are not top priorities in todays market. The project itself deserve to be at least in top 100.

As the last project for today I've chosen a project which has been precursor for bringing visa cards into crypto world, I am talking here about TenX. Definitely not many of you will remember them, today as you can see below the project looks abandoned, but in 2017 believe me, it was one of the best ICOs out there (yes, I've invested in them and made nice profit). The first project who have introduced visa cards to crypto world, back then it was something innovative, something what was expected to come for a long time. They have raised $80m during ICO stage just to later on shut down the project because its card issuer, Wirecard, filed for insolvency.
