Forgotten Projects - Old Crypto Investors Remembers #9

Hello everyone!

Yesterday we've talked about blockchain and weed or weed on blockchain which quite did not work out, today the subject will be totally different. It's actually quite hard to find three projects related to the same thing, that's why today we are going back to normality :)

One of the oldest projects out there, Omni. Officialy it's not a hard fork of BTC, they have used BTC's blockchain adding so called OMNI layer features to it. OMNI is a blockchain with smart contracts about which you may have never heard, why isn't it famous then? I believe it's been kind of abandoned by the OMNI team, I wish someone would overtake the project and revive it as there is really a great potential. Even in last bull run the price of 1 OMNI was about $115 with only 618,140 in circulation, I can't even imagine how high the price could be when the project you be well managed. I will give my degen price prediction because I know very well, you degens love price predictions, so... IF the project would be well managed and the DeFi would be introduced to their ecosystem we could see the price around $9k and see the OMNI in top 50 ones again.

As a second project for today I've chosen Nexus, another great and unfortunatelly forgotten project. It is another project made in great times of no ICOs, you can also build DApps on their blockchain. I have no idea why coingecko (cmc shows correct number) shows that there is unlimited max supply of NXS coins when in reality there is 78,000,000 as max supply. Seems like the Nexus team is still around, their twitter account is still active, the only problem is with the exchanges and I think with marketing in general. It's hard to invite and bring new projects to your ecosystem when nobody can fin your name anywhere (common sense, right).

Einsteinium was the very first and as to my knowledge the only one project (up to today) which was made with the vision to help scientific projects. The EMC2 foundation destined 16 million of EMC2 coins for different scientific projects. The ATH of ECM2 was at around $2,5 which potentially few millions of dollars have been spent on them. In 2019 the EMC2 team introduced hard fork of their main project called MIL, every holder of EMC2 would receive MIL in 1:3 ratio (3 MIL coins for every EMC2 coin) but I've done my research and I can't find any project called MIL on exchanges, it's also not on cmc or coingecko.
