FTX Site Is Shutting Down. Keep All Your Records for Proof of Claim.

WARNING: DO NOT USE FTX SITE/APP RIGHT NOW

TLDR: Save all your transactions, emails, screenshots about your account. You will need them to file a Proof of Claim for Chapter 11.

The FTX site is not working anymore. All the balances, trading, portfolio, etc. are not displaying at all. This is bad for people who did not saved their information yet. However, there are still ways for you to maintain some records:

• If you have tried to withdraw from FTX, keep the email confirmations you received as evidence.
• If you already took screenshots of your portfolio, that's good.
• Use external wallets and other exchanges to track transactions you had to/from FTX.
• Any correspondence with their support team.
• Emails of your recent transactions.

Right now FTX is filing a Chapter 11. They will submit a Schedules of Assets and Liabilities. This Schedules will list how much FTX owes to creditors. Your name needs to be listed on the Schedules for you to claim a payment from the proceedings.

IF YOU ARE NOT LISTED ON THE SCHEDULES, YOU WILL NOT GET PAID!

If your name is not listed, or the listed amount is incorrect, you will need to file a Proof of Claim. This is a form that allows you to file a claim on your assets on FTX. There will be a deadline called a Bar Date that you will have to file this form by.

Right now the Chapter 11 just started but you should gather all your records now. You don't want to do this months later when you don't remember how much you have or already deleted your emails.
