 | as the title said, my friend had his pc ransomwared by a virus called MAQL, it somehow took control over his PC, Binance app was already logged in by default since the thief can't withdraw funds without 2FA, they bought their own NFT using my friends account as seen in the images below, the first was bought for 2 BNB, and second for 0.1 BNB, they also tried withdrawing the rest of BNB but they were unable to due to 2FA my question is can my friend get a refund on the NFT since they were bought from Binance NFT marketplace, and was bought illegally , since he got a risk warning from binance saying his withdrawals were frozen he's unable to withdraw the rest of BNB to a safe wallet THE MAQL hack was 23 OCT 10PM GMT the binance hack was 24 OCT 1 PM GMT i advised him to run malwarebytes and if that doesn't help then RESET his whole pc, he went out to buy windows CD from local shop, came back to his funds gone. TOTAL stolen is 2.1 BNB, that might not sound a lot to some of you, but we live in Africa, and that is more than a 1 year wage that he worked hard to get.
