I’ve seen the trouble centralized exchanges can cause. I was using Celsius for a year and half and luckily removed my money 1 month before the halted withdrawls. I see countless posts about people getting their crypto frozen on Coinbase. Asking for re-verification, getting nowhere with support. We got into crypto to unbank ourself why are we keeping our money on exchanges that are doing exactly what banks are. I recently picked up a cold storage wallet and I recommend you do too.
