Girlfriend hates my Bitcoin conviction

So I have an interesting situation on my hands. I have a long time girlfriend of many years. Thinking I want to propose soon. We got into an argument about how I put most my money in bitcoin. She’s upset that I won’t save money and put it into real estate or with a wealth advisor. I tried to tell her I’m a believer and plan on holding for the long term. She told me it’s a cult and that it’s imaginary and that no one gives a fuck. It got a little heated when she told me I’d be better off buying gold due to its scarcity…… she obviously doesn’t understand bitcoin… but does anyone really? Moral of the story is she really hates how I invest my money and feels it’ll never pay off for us. Seems my only choice is to continue investing in secret, which I really don’t want to do. I guess I don’t really know what I’m looking for here as no one’s opinion really matters. Just want to know if anyone’s ever dealt with a similar situation and how you handled it.
