I never ever expected this was even possible but sadly it is and I was unaware of this possibility.
I usually google binance and click the first result, normal enough, until a few days ago I did just that and after going in, it literally looked like the exact same website and I was prompted to enter my email, text and 2fa codes, which I did and then after that I noticed the page just refreshed and didn't actually log me in, which I found strange but didn't think much of it and I tried again using the same codes and I was able to log in.
Then I instantly notice a processing withdrawal of all my money which was in usdt into btc and I was literally shocked and instantly disabled my account, but sadly that didn't help much.
All my money, and it's a large amount I won't mention was taken out in less than 1min after logging in, this is all automated using a bot.
Binance obviously won't recompensate me, and I'm really sad right now...
What I don't get is how the bot was able to withdraw without my codes, as I only provided them once.
As for the google results, I have done just that hundreds of times and never had an issue, but that day Chrome updated and broke ublock for all its users, which is what protects against such websites.
Also my Gmail, phone, computer, nothing is compromised.
The phisher was even able to use my own ip address for access, as they steal your cookies.
The main program to be able to do all of this is possible through this: https://breakdev.org/evilginx-2-4-gone-phishing/
