Has anyone been successful in allowing binance to put a trading dicount code after you had your account opened?

Hi all,

My binance trading fees are getting high. My big original mistake was clicking on a link with referral, but I opened a new browser after it crashed, and set my account up forgetting to notice there was no referral code on that new windoW.

After a month or so trading, I asked support on chat, and the main in pretty bad English said, No binance can’t do this As I have no access to do it. You would have to close account and reopen (And go through all the KYi again no thanks). I said but some people were given the opportunity to use a referral code after, on a case by case basis. Problem is, the only people I know are from these forums.

Has anyone here or someone you know actually managed to do this?

i also explained to the guy that another option is I could just set up a new account for my wife, but that would be much more work and annoying to go through everything as well as moving the crypto over. Any ideas? Binance did however come back to me and say if it’s true that we allowed someone to use a referral fee after registration, then please give me their name and customer number and if we verify that this is correct, then we can do it, but that is the only way we will escalate for you.

I’m trading regularly so it’s a massive ongoing expense. Because of a silly code all over the internet too. I don’t understand why they just don’t want to help keep a customer happy.
