Have you encouraged a friend or relative into buying Crypto and now you feel bad because your advice hasn't paid off?

My wife and I stated buying into Crypto about 4 years ago. I had some Litecoin she had some Ethereum. Obviously it has gone up and down, I mentioned SHIB to her and she basically went all in on it (currently down about 50%). Had she kept it in ETH she'd be doing a lot better. I do feel a little bit bad about it, I have managed to convince her to keep her SHIB and just play it out l, so it's sits there in Kraken until it makes us gazillionaires.

I have also encouraged friends to at least dip into Crypto. I have never told them what to buy or why, just given them a push and a little bit of guidance around what apps to use, but beyond that I have left it to them.

I've not had anyone say they resent getting into it based on my advice, but I wonder if anyone here has burnt bridges or ruined friendships with advise around bad bets? We all know this place can be source for good and bad. Money is so emotive that it really can have a detrimental effect on relationships, even with good news. Just interested to hear people's stories, good and bad with advice around family and friends and getting them into Crypto.
