Have you ever been able to pay in crypto? What did you buy?

Have you ever tried to pay using crypto? I wanted to do so, even if only as an experiment. I split my time between the Netherlands and Spain, but my experience for both countries has been very similar.

While there are a few websites that list businesses that accept crypto, that information is outdated most of the time. It's so frustrating. I've been checking countless websites, only to find out that crypto was accepted for a short period of time only.

I've also found a couple establishments that claim to accept payment in a crypto that, upon further reading, appears to be a dead project.

One possible workaround is the purchase of gift cards using crypto, which can later the redeemed, but all in all, I think the only business I've ever interacted with that keeps consistently accepting crypto is JustEat. So... at this point in time, all I can buy using crypto is either takeout or NFTs.
