Hello guys,
I hope you guys are doing well. I was wondering whether any of you have secured your seedphrases on something that your family can get their hands on in case of any mishaps. Is it even a thing?
We have been reading about a lot of wallets with hundreds and thousands of bitcoins, probably belonging to owners who lie under the earth now. They might have plans of cashing out after sometime but God knows what happened, many might have met accidents, other natural deaths and eventually, lost crypto. And if it's the case, what a waste of bitcoins, lol. How many might have faced this? What if their family or kids could get their wallets somehow, maybe it will be lifechanging for many.
I myself have written mine in my personal diary that I have with me from some time. It's in my private closet besides my other belongings and it contains the passwords and keys to all the DEXs and CEXs I use. I don't have much on me at the moment, but it's always good to have a plan, isn't?
Some quick takes from audience: * most left keys to wife/kids *some left it to trustworthy friends who will hand them over to family *deposit seedphrase in a safe that gets to family after something happens to the owner. (By far, the best)
