I'm into crypto for two years now. There are a few concepts that I've had trouble getting clear answers to and I'm hoping reddit can help.
Say I have my BTC in Trust Wallet and I want to hold it SAFE for 20 years. I delete my app, Hide the seed phrase somewhere fire/flood proof. done. But when I decide to mess with that BTC and I attempt to access it do I need to use Trust Wallet specifically? or can I access the BTC from any old app using my seed phrase? I keep hearing that a wallet connected to a cold storage device is the best way but I have had trouble in the past with hard drives etc failing or becoming annoyingly obsolete over the coarse of 10 years. Ideally I want the BTC to be accessible in an instant with the least amount of components necessary but kept very safe. Thank you in advance!
