High gas prices are problematic, how can we help?

TL;DR
Gas price is a problem, it pisses me off, and I am sure it upsets many others. We all know ETH 2.0 will be the optimal solution, so maybe we can help speed things up?

The idea is simple, there is specific group of developers working on the development of Ethereum, and the work needed to get there definitely would use as much help as it gets to get us there. So, maybe we could contribute? Everyone based on their own skillset/experience.

I mean you don't have to be Solidity god to contribute; maybe find small issue (documentation or the like) and create a Pull Request to fix it.

If you have more experience and more time at your disposal, maybe contribute more. As a bonus you will get to learn bit more about the ecosystem, and you might become even better at utilizing the current dapps. And it is going to be win-win deal.

Maybe help raise awareness of how to use the ecosystem more efficiently?

The point is, HELP. It takes much more than the group of engineers building the infrastructure to get the pieces together. And unless the mass adoption become easy, cost efficient, and secure this whole bull run we are happy about will be blown off sooner or later. So it is for an on all of us to try to help whenever we can.
