Hilarious bitcoin tweets from the old days

Many crypto investors has looked at their portfolio in pain last month. To ease the pain a little, let us compile a selection of tweets from crypto history that may provide some relief.

Little bit of regret

Andrew Hires had a bad day. He sold his bitcoin a little too low, at $11.99 each. The best man then saw the price of the coin go up 9.2%. This fomo was enough for a tweet. Little did he know...

Correspondence with the Past

This twitterer was already suffering from fomo in 2011. He sold his bitcoin on May 25, 2011, and was balking at the fact that his portfolio had increased by 20% while he was sleeping. Last October, it was time to point out that mistake to himself, according to Glenn of the Future.

Wonderful poll

As many as seven people voted on this poll at the end of 2016. In it, they speculated about a bitcoin price of $1,000. Wasn't that a little too high?

Giant purchase

Erik Voorhees saw an active whale in the year 2012. In the year that the world would end according to the Mayans, someone bought $120,000 worth of bitcoins at a price around $12. Today, this whale would be a multimillionaire.

Best Christmas gift ever

Whether you like bitcoin or not, retroactively anyone would be pleased with Rod's Christmas gift. Hopefully, he kept some of his own. The price of bitcoin at the time was around $4.

Certain of himself

Jeff Dickson saw the price of bitcoin drop on June 20, 2011. At the time, he was smarter than other investors, who held bitcoin during the dip. Still, this tweet is not so strange. To briefly highlight Jeff's side of the story: on June 19, 2011, an unknown hacker gained access to a MtGox administration account (formerly the largest exchange) and sent hundreds of thousands of fake bitcoins, causing the crypto currency's value to drop from $17.50 to 1 cent per coin.
