Honest question. I’m not a complete noob to tech. But all upgrades in general can be buggy (in all tech). How sure are we of the upgrade to 2.0?

So I’m someone who has been trying to understand how blockchain tech works and I do have a background in most technical side of things pc/networking/media etc.

I’m sure we’ve all been victims of big projects failing due to all the hype. I’m thinking in recent years big develops in games failing to deliver what they promised. Cyberpunk, new world, or many years ago no mans sky.

I know it’s not the same industry at all, but the people in those industries are also some of the most cutting edge in their fields to some degree and backed by lots of big tech.

However the hype ends up causing the project to be almost impossible to make anyone really impressed so my question is, do you think we are also to some degree in the same territory here.

And I’m not talking about all the testing before things go fully live but I’m just thinking out-loud and I’d love some honest no bias or extreme views.

I do believe in the tech. I’m not interested in price movements. What I care about is if this tech is in good hands and how can we be sure we aren’t headed for some form of disappointment.
