I came across a telegram group called Crypto Lion a week ago, the guy seemed to make calls on coins that most people are talking about nowadays so i joined to see whats up. On saturday, the guy posts about a new coin offering called Duo and I was in the middle of moving so I just went into it with a small bit of money. Fast forward two days and its up 40x, and i figured i've had enough and want to get out before its a rug pull or so. Turns out I cant because its a honeypot and the sell fees are 100% :)
In hindsight, all of it made sense. The fact that Duo network already exists and had an ico a few years ago, the fact that all the partnerships he posted about on his telegram group dont show up when searched for. The fact that he doesnt post any links to track price, just pictures on the group or a chart (because even dexscreener flags it as a honeypot scheme now).
Oh well, you live and you learn. But I didnt want anyone else falling into it, hence figured I'd post about it
