I have a feeling less than half of this sub is comfortable with self-custody measures like hot wallets/cold storage. So I wanted to create a poll to see how comfortable our fellow CryptoCurrency Redditors are, who interact with this sub.
Reviewing the possible answer for the poll
- Not comfortable sending or receiving Crypto - select this answer if you don't know how to send and receive crypto, so any crypto you owns sits unmoved on an exchange.
- I know how to send crypto between exchanges - select this answer if you know how to send and receive crypto and can send it between exchanges, but haven't taken any steps for self-custody
- I'm starting to use a hot wallet but it's intimidating - select this answer if you know the starting principles of hot wallets but you steel feel intimidated.
- I'm comfortable with hot wallets and defi - select this answer if you're completely comfortable with a hot wallet and aren't intimated with the vast possibilities of defi.
- I use a combination of cold storage and hot wallets to hold all my crypto - select this option if you've comfortable holding your own crypto and have established hot wallets or cold storage for your crypto assets.
I think this poll will give us an interesting look into the knowledgebase of the average user that visits this sub. Remember to sort by vote count not by Moon count - to get a better view of this sub.
