How did you first explain to family that you invest in crypto?

I've only just actually put any money in but I've been doing months of research into it. I first mentioned to my family that I was going to invest into Crypto and it ended with an argument lol

My Family are the typical family who say you need to work hard and have a savings account to be able to have any sort of stability. My view is, Working hard for someone's company purely means im making the boss richer and the government and banks richer. Crypto is finally the first thing we can own and I needed a piece of that.

They then went on to say that Crypto isn't a tangible thing and anyone who puts their money into something that isn't "real" is just wasting their money

I ended the argument with putting my sunglasses on to block out their hate and saying the profits from my BTC will one day pay for their retirement home and funerals.

Im no longer allowed to sit at the dinner table.
