Hello fellow Crypto investors,
Just like many of you I've been following crypto for quite some time. Back in 2017 I dipped my toes in at the start of the bull run. I had some great highs followed by some awful lows. Lucky for me I only ever invested money I could afford to lose. I made lots of bad decisions out of fear that cost me some decent profits.
I realize my biggest issue is the massive amount of anxiety I get from investing. Even though it's always money I can afford to lose I still become consumed by it. When things are going up fast I freak out and think I'll soon be rich. When things are dropping I become incredibly worried that I've wasted my money. I find it very difficult to just leave my investments and let them sit long term. The anxiety I get from it has often made me not want to invest at all.
So my question to everyone is have you dealt with this kind of anxiety and how did you overcome it? I know investing will always be somewhat stressful but I don't want it to make me unable to sleep over $1000. I'd like to be able to slowly invest small amounts on good longterm projects and let it sit. Does anyone have any good strategies to keep me from driving myself insane?
