How do you manage your portfolios?

Hey folks, this is my first post here. I am a bit nervous and hope you are kind to me. I have searched this sub-reddit and have not found too much information on this topic.

My questions to you people are:

• How do you manage your portfolios and transactions? Are there any tools that you use or is it really all Excel sheets?
• And which information is relevant to you?

Tools

I have seen posts and comments from people that use Excel sheets or similar home-grown tools.

• We all probably use a mix of coin exchanges, mobile apps or specific wallets to perform our transactions.
• We get rewards from staking, using credit cards, or doing some of that DeFi stuff which I still don't understand.
• The nerds among us would like to keep track of everything we do and get some insights about how well we are doing it.
• We want to import transaction logs from various sources so we don't need manual tracking.

Is there anything better than manually setting up some Excel sheets and doing some copy-paste scripting to parse market data out of some websites? Is there anything better than using Excel sheets to parse exported transaction logs from various exchanges?

Is there any functionality which is missing? What else do you need for your portfolio management tools to be useful to you?

Information

What information about your portfolio is relevant to you?

• Most of us need some information for income tax or wealth tax.
• We are probably interested in understanding the overall performance of the portfolio.
• We are probably interested in understanding the performance of a specific investment.
• We probably want to see how well-balanced our portfolio is and where the risks are.
• We are interested in the value of our portfolio at a specific time in the past, and maybe have some projections into the future.

Is there any other information about your portfolio you would be interested in?
