how does the stack execute the unlocking of a segwit lockedscript?

In P2PKH, the lockedscript is DUP,HAS160, <hashedpubkey>, EQUALVERIFY, CHECKSIG and to unlock it you provide <sig, pubkey>. And when you execute in the stack, you will get the the final result as 1, and you're allowed to spend this output.

I don't understand how the execution of stack works for P2WPKH works. The lockedscript is 0,<pubkeyhash>, and you unlock it with the scriptsig <sig, pubkey> inside the witnessdata. How how do you execute this through stack? Can you someone layout step by step how the new nodes validate the unlocking of segwit utxo?

top: hashedpubkey

next: pubkey

bottom: sig
