How does Vitalik stay safe?

A few weeks ago, I watched "Vitalik: An Ethereum Story," and although I knew that Vitalik travels a lot, I was surprised by its scale. One day, he's in Denver; the other day, he's in Bogota, and he even traveled to warzone Ukraine.

While watching, my friend asked me: “How does he stay safe? Aren’t there anti-crypto people who might want to harm him or some criminals wanting to kidnap him since he’s so rich?”.

And tbh I had no answer to that.

Vitalik does hundreds of talks, with tens of thousands of people watching them. Most people are nice and friendly, but it only takes one crazy person with a knife to do a bad thing. I was at his two talks (at Devconnect ‘23 and Dappcon 24) and never saw any security person there, nor did I see a trace of any personal bodyguard.

Also, he travels to less safe countries where even normal people might have problems, let alone famous billionaires.

Does anyone know how he takes care of his safety?
