In reality, it's <17%. Many have not truly adopted BTC/crypto, but are merely short-term speculative traders or those caught up in the hype. Post-crash estimates may be as low as ~5-8%. And the number of active addresses for BTC is currently ~500,000 - meaning just a tiny fraction of the world is actually using BTC.
Most cryptocurrencies would not even register on this chart yet.
